Welcome to the 2016-2017 Reflections program. The theme this year is "What is Your Story?". AA County's due date is Nov. 16-18, you will need to drop off all entries to Teresa Tudor's office at the Board of Education Building, 2644 Riva Rd., Annapolis 21401. Her number is 410-222-5414. You may only submit the top three levels (1st, 2nd, 3rd) to county level. Then the 1st place county winner in each level and category will move up to State level. AA County Reflection Award ceremony will be in February. I will let you know the date, time and place, closer to the event.

To participate in the Reflections program you must be sure your PTA/PTSA is in good standing. This means that your dues have been paid, your bylaws have been renewed (if applicable), your 2015-2016 audit has been completed and you've done your 990 form. If you are not sure if your PTA/PTSA is in good standing, please ask your PTA/PTSA President.

There will be a Reflection workshop on October 1st at the Carver Center in Gambrills along with the AACCPTA General Membership meeting, from 8:30-12:30, here is the flyer (PDF, 919KB). If you have any questions about the reflections program, I will be there to help you. If you haven't already, please go to and take the eLearning course or listen to the 20 minute video on Reflections, it's very helpful.

Attached is the Reflection's program official rules (PDF, 686KB), student entry form (PDF, 211KB), themed poster (PDF, 690KB), tips for program promotions (PDF, 259KB), and a flyer for Free mats for 2D artwork (PDF, 888KB).

I look forward to working with you to make this year's AACCPTA Reflections Program the best in the state. I am happy to meet with you at your school to help you make your reflection program awesome.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
