Reflections 2021 - 2022

The 2021-2022 National PTA Reflections Arts Program theme for this year is I Will Change the World By…

For information about the program, visit https://www.pta.org/home/programs/reflections. AACCPTA has registered for the NPTA Reflections Program and will be taking submissions from local PTAs. The categories for the program are dance, theater, photography, music composition, literature, and visual arts. Local PTAs are to submit participants' works of art to the County Council, and after judging the winners will proceed to the state level for judging with Free State PTA. All state winners will then proceed to the National level for judging with the National PTA.

AACCPTA has set a deadline for December 17 so that submissions are in before the Winter Break. Judging will occur after the break in time for submission to the State level, which has a deadline of January 27. All entries will be accepted virtually and judging will also be virtual.

How can local PTAs participate?

  • Step 1: Register your PTA at https://www.pta.org/home/programs/reflections.
  • Step 2. Set a submission deadline and send out information to your school families.
  • Step 3: Since AACCPTA will be accepting virtual submissions only, please organize a way to collect all entries virtually.
  • Step 4: Recruit a panel of judges and forward the winning participants' works of art to AACCPTA.

For more details and to receive forms to get your PTA started with the program, please email vice-pres@aaccpta.org.
